Purpose
Chordata partnered with Alltech to develop a dashboard that enables farmers to monitor herd health, take appropriate action, and log their interventions. Designed with veterinary and nutritional teams in mind, the dashboard facilitates effective collaboration across disciplines. Health Sync, powered by Chordata’s AI, integrates cattle behavioral data with biomarker data to deliver comprehensive insights into herd health and well-being.
Discover
Alltech aimed to create a dashboard that is both ergonomic and easy to use, allowing farmers to access real-time data on their herd’s health.
Connect
Research conducted with Alltech, farmers, and veterinarians revealed a shared desire to collaborate closely in order to achieve the best outcomes for herd health and milk production.
Solve
The farming team can view the health status of individual cattle, specific groups within the herd, and compare data across regions. In the event of a health issue, they receive alerts and can access the animal’s health history, real-time vitals, and graphical data—all in one centralized dashboard.

Farmer
Young generational farmers and farmhands are managing and expanding their operations using modern, technology-driven methods.
Aware
Farmers are knowledgeable about herd health and actively engage in managing their animals’ well-being through the use of technology.
Tech-Savvy
These users have grown up with the internet and mobile devices, making them confident and adaptable when using new technologies.

Testing
Farmers participated in the initial user testing of Health Sync, offering feedback on features, desired changes, and recommendations. Their input directly informed product improvements, with multiple rounds of user testing conducted throughout development.
